My dentist advised to get lumineers for a front teeth will they do this under NHS

Q. Hi, my dentist has advised me to get a lumineers for a front tooth that has a small chip to it and is chipping every six months to 1 year after filling. Can I find a dentist that will do this under NHS (free) as my dentist wants £650 for the lumineers? What are the disadvantages of going NHS and not private i.e., what is the wait period generaly etc. thanks so much

A. You may be able able to find an NHS dentist who will treat you but it won’t be a lumineer.  Generally this treatment is classed as cosmetic so is only available privately.  There is a difference between NHS and private treatment, privately you have more options and your dentist can use much better technologies and materials to treat you.
