My Daughter Has Been Suffering With Bulimia And She Needs Help As She Doesn’t Want Dentures. What Can Be Done?

Q.
Hello can you please help?
My daughter has big problems with her teeth after suffering with bulimia over several years. We are trying to find a sympathetic person to help her and so far with the dentists in our region (North Wales) they have not been particularly helpful. We are not a well off family but I have offered to help her try and find somebody who is willing to look at her ~ her present dentist has suggested dentures, she is only 34 and I feel this person doesn’t really care much. She has just lost a front tooth and is absolutely mortified about it and I feel so sorry as she is a beautiful girl. Please can someone help to put the smile back on my lovely daughters face without us having to take out a mortgage to do it? With thanks.

Hi. Really sorry to hear that. It is difficult to answer without a proper X-ray or seeing her. Could you please send a full mouth recent X-ray to us that I can tell you and give you some advice. Please check our website, www.thesandford.com and send me an X-ray. Many thanks, Dr Shaffie.
