My cap root is broken and I have been advised to get a top plate, which I don’t want. Is there another option?
Q. My front caps root is broken, my dentist says i now need a top plate it there any other way i dont want a plate.,
A. If the root has fractured then yes it does need to be removed. You do have more options than a denture these should have been discussed by your dentist. Your other options are a dental implant or a bridge. I am happy to see you for a free consultation.

what kind of temporary glue can I purchase to put a cap on till i get to the dentist?
Try Boots they do a variety of kits which work ok for a few weeks.
The healing cap over my new implant has fallen out twice within a two month period. Is this normal? I have been careful not chewing on the side where it is, but still it fell out again yesterday.
There could be some tissue trapped underneath so it might need cleaning out before screwing back again.
