Hi, I’m sorry to hear about your gum disease. Firstly I recommend you see a dentist as soon as possible, who works closely with a hygienist to start improving things – they will get better. They will also be able to assess the prognosis of your teeth and talk through your options to restore your smile. Eventaully he may recommend seeing a periodontist (gum specialist). Good luck

I used to have a nice smile but because of gum disease they are starting moving which has made my smile a lot less attractive. Have you got any treatment to realign teeth even when you have gums disease. I am 46 years old
You need to resolve your gum disease problems first and then maybe orthodontioc treatment might work. Crowns or veneers and possibly dental bonding may be another option. You should be seeing a Periodontist , a gum specialist, to treat the gum problem
can you shorten teeth that seeem long due vto gum disease.
What is the best way to fight gum disease?
Try to brush your teeth at least twice a day for 3 minutes and use dental floss. See a dentist and hygienist and reduce your food snacking i.e. eating in between main meals.
