It it safe for me to undergo Invisalign treatment, as I am worried this will make my teeth worse?
Q. Hi, I have terrible teeth which i hate. I have fillings in most of my molar upper teeth. I have a protruding front tooth which i also hate. One of my filled teeth has had root canal treatment. Is it safe to have the invisible brace fitted? I am worried that due to my quite heavily teeth i will make them worse or risk losing them! But i hate my wonky tooth at the same time. Please help me!!!,
A. You would need an assessment initially anwyay to see if you would be suitable. From what you have said, I don’t see any reason why not. There are several invisable brace options available and your dentist will be able to discuss this with you in detail. Orthodontic treatment won’t damage your teeth in any way- but you will need to maintain a good standard of oral care whilst you have the braces on. I hope this has helped and good luck
