I am currently looking to have invisalign braces as my dentist has recommended that that is the best option for my required result. I am unsure which practitioner to choose in my area. Are there any guidelines/ qualifications i should be looking for and is there anything i should be aware of? Are there any other forms of cosmetic tooth straightening available similar to this?

Hello, My advice would be to seek an Invisalign practitioner that is also a very experienced Cosmetic Dentist (and is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and/or the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry) and who has a lot of experience with Invisalign, ideally over 500 cases. If they are a specialist orthodontist as well , or they have one available in their practice to consult with, then that would be ideal. The Invisalign website has a dentist locator facility that will give you an indication of the level of experience that the cosmetic dentist or orthodontist has
