Is its good to whiten my teeth before placing new veneers?

Q. Hi, im thinking of getting the replacement veneers. i had them for 15 yrs now. i was wondering, is it a good thing for a dentist to whiten my teeth (ones that have veneers) before placing the new veneers. some dentist said that it’s a good idea because it would deminish the grayish effect after the veneer is placed. and wont make my teeth very sensitive since it’s been grinded due to veneers?

A. Whitening is more for the teeth without veneers if you do like their colour get whitening then have the veneers replaced.
