Is it possible to have an implant after a short period of time when the gum has completely healed

Q. I had a root canal about 3years ago, and the centre of my tooth was completly filled with the grey finish filling cement. unfortunately the entire filling pellet has fallen out and one side of tooth that was left has fallen away. Im wanting to know it is at all possible to have an implant after a short period of time when the gum has completely healed? I was thinking about a gold tooth, not for the look but just purely for the fact that will not react and be very strong no doubt lasting me a very long time. F.Y.I. – The tooth is a molar, bottom set on the right second in from the back (no wisdom teeth). Thankyou

A.

Yes, it is possible to have an implant after this period of time but an examination would have to be carried out initially.
