Is cosmetic bonding the best option for my teeth?

Q.
Hello Dr. Sunita Verma i just have a quick question about bonding. I am 15 years old and i just have gotten my canines replaced because i was missing my upper laterals, so they made my canines that replaced my laterals look like laterals but i still have my baby canines that have never fallen out and (they are my 3rd teeth from my centrals) and my dentist said eventually they will fall out. What would be my options if they do fall out? Also i have a minor gap in my two front teeth. What would be the cost to bond those together and make them longer? or what do you think is my best option with my situation? Thank you for your time and hopefully hear back with a response 🙂
A.
Dear Enquirer,
You may hang on to your baby canine teeth indefinitely, although some people tend to loose deciduous/baby teeth in their mid 30’s…so there is no immediate cause for concern.
You can have implants placed to replace missing teeth in any case. Cosmetic bonding can be used successfully to close gaps of up to 4mm in between front teeth. Costs are start from £125 per tooth.
Regards,
Sunita
