Is an NHS dentist restricted to the amount of work they can do on a patient?

Q. Is an nhs dentist restricted to the amount of work he can do on a patient. I had a front top right tooth taken out and a double bridge put in but its bigger than the natural tooth . i look a mess .,
A. NHS dentistry does not recognise the appearance as a primary reason to change something. If it is functional you are likely to be asked to pay private fees to control the appearance. Rob
