I’m Thirteen And Have Stained Teeth, Are Veneers A Possible Solution?
Q.
I was wondering if people from the age of 13 and under have the ability to get dental veneers or at least something to help stained, ‘odd’ teeth.

I’m a 13 yr old female and I have sincerely hated my teeth since I was 11. It was only until then I noticed how much of a difference they make to your appearance & ever since I’ve been trying every thing to rid of the problems that I have made for myself .
I wish I had taken much more care of my teeth, but I guess I’m unable to do so now.
Any advice & tips would be appreciated, also.
Thank you.
A.
Hello, thanks a lot for writing in. You’re correct, teeth do make a difference to your appearance but the fact that you are recognising this early on and are prepared to do something about it shows good initiative and I applaud you for bringing it up. The situation with veneers for cosmetic purposes at your age means that getting them is unlikely but a thorough cleaning by a dentist at a practice may help you with the stains. I would see if this is possible Otherwise you could consider whitening

the odd teeth could also have some cosmetic bonding performed.
