Q. I am considering dental implants after having had a fall and severly damaging my two front teeth which had to be removed. If bone needs to be harvested from the hip how is this done. Many thanks.,
A. It is very rare to use to hip grafting now as there are much less invasive procedures available now. You need to find a good implant / cosmetic dentist and have an assessment. I use 4-5 different types of bone grafting procedure depending on what is needed.
