Hi Marcus. I need to have a tooth extracted and cosmetic bonding on my teeth as I’ve got a tooth under my gum. Is this safe to remove, as I am a little scared? I need to have this treatment done because I have a gap in the middle tooth and I want braces to close the gap, I was advised to this before I put braces on my teeth, so please could you advise me on what to do? Is it safe and what can I expect in terms of price when having such an operation.

Hello and thank you for contacting me. I would need to see you in person to determine the correct course of action to take with regards to treatment. Cost of treatment is also worked out through a consultation as it can depend on many factors, like the amount of workmanship involved and the quality of material used amongst other things. My advice would be to seek help from an experienced dentist you feel totally comfortable with. You may have to speak to more than one during this process. I hope this helps.
