I want braces but how do I get help about paying for them?

Q.
Hi there,
I am desperate for braces or something that will straighten my teeth, my top set are crooked and one of my front teeth is moving forward more and more, overlapping the other front tooth whivh in turn is pushing it backwards, its really noticeable I am so self conscience about it and I actually feel quite depressed and I have to be extra careful when I smile,I work part time and there is no way I can afford the prices of private, can I get any help from the NHS and if so how do I go about getting this??
A.
Unfortunately you would have to see an NHS dentist to see if your orthodontic condition would qualify for the treatment under NHS. A lot of dental surgeries do offer payment plans through finance companies so you could always investigate if there is an orthodontist near you that has finance as part of a treatment plan.
