I Used To Wear Braces But Now My Teeth Are Moving And Are No Longer Straight. Can I Get New Braces At A Reasonable Price?

Q.
Hi there. I have just turned 27 years old. I used to wear braces when I was in school, the ones with the single mental line, which I could take out and put back in whenever I liked. Due to personal circumstances dental treatment stopped. As the years have gone by especially in the last few years I have noticed they are moving and are not straight. I have a job but I’m receiving working tax credit. I’ve always put dental treatment off due to costs. But now I really want braces as it’s effecting my self esteem. I was wondering what would be the best way to go about getting them at a reasonable price. Thank you.

Hello. It really depends on the type of treatment you require, simple fixed braces work well in most cases and can be the most cost effective, as a guide expect to pay around £1500 per arch. You need to find out which braces would be most suitable through a consultation and go from there. You could use a payment plan to pay for treatment in more manageable chunks.
