I suffer from Amelogenisis Imperfecta, are dental implants my best option?

Q.
I suffer with amelogenises imperfecta, should I have to pay for dental treatment (if I suffered with my thyroids I would get free prescriptions for the foreseeable future).
I have previously had my teeth capped and obviously they now need doing again, a cost of which I will regularly incur throughout my life (I am now 40), so will be the 3rd time I will need this doing.
Would I be better of going down the root of implants?
A.
cost & benefit are hard to call, Implants would resolve the issue of Amelogenisis Imperfecta. If the remaining teeth basically strutural sound, moderate tooth / filling ratios and the root support is good I might incline to recrowning. If individual teeth or groups of teeth are comprimised consider selective replacement with implants.
Overall a clinical assesment is needed before specific planning can start. Please contact 0121 643 0610 if you would like a free initial consultation. Sadly there is not a scheme to recover costs for dental treatment of your condition.
