I Recently Bumped My Tooth Which Has Started To Wobble And Is Hurting A Bit. What Options Do I Have?

Q.
Hi Mark, I’m 14, and recently I bumped my big adult tooth into something, it seemed a bit wobbly so I became sort of paranoid and began to wobble it. It gradually became looser but it’s not too loose. It’s also hurting a bit. Would I be able to go to my dentist and get brackets to support my teeth because I’m really desperate to get it fixed? I really want there to be another option so my teeth can stay in place. Is there anything I could do to stop in from hurting? Thanks, I hope to get some advice from you.

Hello. Please go and get some professional advice from a dentist as soon as possible. You really need to have an examination along with some investigations (such as X-rays) carried out to ascertain if there are any (serious) problems. A diagnosis of your problem cannot be achieved via emails and the fact that you are in pain means that there could be something of concern that needs urgent treatment. Best wishes, Mark.
