I really don’t want to wear dentures and I am considering other options, such as implants. Can I have these and how much would they cost?

Q. I have a lower front bridge (approx 15 years old) and have recently suffered two abscesses under the bridge. I have been informed that the bridge needs to be removed together with the offending tooth with the result being dentures. I really do no want dentures is it possbile to have another bridge fitted? or would it have to be implants. Your expert advice would be very much appreciated as I feel really low about the prospect of having to wear dentures. I would also be most grateful if you could give me a ball park figure for these treatments as I assume they are not avaible on the NHS. Kind regards,
A. You’re right implants are not available on the NHS. You need to budget around £4000 for the implant treatment. Let me know if you’d like me to take a look
