I need advice before my appointment about the options for my receeding gums.
Q. I have rapidly receeding gums and an worried i will loose my teeth. I have veneers on both incisors and the gap between them and my gum is increasing. I have a dental appointment booked, but would appreciate your advice before I attend. What, if any, options do I have?,
A. It depends on the cause of the recession. If it is due to overbrushing then you’ll need advice on your cleaning regime, with the option to place a gum graft to rebuild the gum. If its is gum disease then treatment with a Hygienist or Periodontist is indicated
