I have heard that all teeth have to be healthy before the whitening. Is it correct that the decay has to be treated first before the teeth whitening? If yes, I wonder how to avoid the problem with the filling being darker after the whitening.

Hello. I have a lot of issues with my teeth. TThe main one being that recently some teeth have started to decay majorly and some are almost completelygone. Although i look after my teeth now i didn’t use to. I have many holes in various areas of my teeth and I really want to get them sorted. I alsohave a crossover on my front two teeth which i would also like to get sorted and after the work has been done i would also like to get them whitened.I am only 19 so I know that something has gone majorly wrong and I want toget it sorted.

Dear Dr Patel i am due to have my wisdom tooth removed at a hospital as my dentist tells me i need to have it done under either IV sedation or GA.i 100% do not want GA but dont want IV either as i have a fear of needles.is there any way i can have the opp under local anth and gas/air? Please help!! i dont mind needles to the gum at all, but its only the thought of having it left in my vein.id rather take the pain then be put to sleep.i think my tooth (lower) is half grown and has gum over it, so im guessing the gum will have to be pulled back.i have also read about AMETOP cream which may be a option but i rather gas/air and local anth.
