A. I’m so sorry to hear that you have been left so scarred following an awful experience. Have you heard of something called sedation? It may be something that it worth researching. It is often used on patients such as yourself who are extremely nervous. It can be given either as an injection or drunk in a liquid form (taken an hour before the appointment in due to commence). This is something in addition to the local anaesthetic, you would be ‘awake’ but feel very drowsy. I would also advise finding a Dentist that you really trust and feel comfortable with.
