I’m dreading the extraction because I have low clotting factor IX, any advice?

Q. Dear Dr Moore, I have had root canal treatment about 15 years ago. In the last few years, I have had a few re-fillings on this tooth (not canal again). Now all the filling has come out and following an abscess/infection, the little bit of tooth that was there, had to be removed to avoid pain when eating. The dentist here in Cyprus advised me to have the root removed. The problem now is that I am told I have to remove what is left (the root), and as I have low clotting factor iX, I dread having this extraction. Is there anything I can do to avoid exraction, as I have had such bad bleeding problems with teeth extracting inthe past. This is a nightmare for me. Especially now that I am in Cyprus for a few months. Please can you advise? Thank you.,
A. You could consider a new root canal treatment and a post crown as a last resort I guess
