I just had two nerves removed and I’m on considerable pain. Is this acceptable; should the procedure have been painless?

Q. I’ve just had two nerves removed from an upper molar, I was in agnoising pain during the procedure, my dentist was unable to remove the third nerve, I’ve been sent away with antibiotics and a return appointment to remove the third nerve and refill the tooth. I’m in considerable pain now, two hours after my visit. Is this acceptable treatment? Should this procedure have been painless?,
A. It is often the worst treatment as these teeth can be very difficult to numb, if it doesn’t numb next time you may need referring to a specialist
