Hi, Dr Shaffie. My mum was ill when she was pregnant with me and the medication she took made my adult teeth come through with very little enamel on them. My dentist told me there was nothing that could be done to make them white. I had braces when I was a teenager but I was told that my jaw needed breaking for the teeth to stay straight and my dentist said that wiring my jaw shut meant my teeth wouldn’t get the proper cleaning they needed and because of my lack of enamel and they’d rot. So now I’m stick with yellow crooked teeth. Is there really nothing that can be done? I would literally do anything to have lovely straight white teeth. I really hope you can help me with this.
