I have really bad teeth, but I’m really scared of going to the dentist. Can I get work done under general anesthetic?

Q. Hi, I thought that i was the only one with this phobia. My teeth is in really bad shape and i refuse to go to a dentist because all, everyone of my experiences has been horrifying. I would like to fix my entire mouth however, i would like to be under general anesthesia. Is this possible?,
A. It is unlikely you will be able to have all treatment under general anesthetic. You need to find a dentist you trust who works with nervous patients. At my practice a large proportion of our clients are like you some have not been to the the dentist for over thirty years. We can carry out treatment under sedation which is safer and very good.
