I Have Porcelain Crowns And Veneers. I Would Like To Know If It’s Possible To Have Lingual Braces?

Q.
Hi Mark, I would like to know if it possible for me to have lingual braces? I have porcelain crowns with metal posts on my two front teeth and veneers on the two teeth either side.
I have a small upper arch and originally my upper front teeth were overlapped before they were replaced with crowns and posts. I have always wanted to have my teeth straightened but was put off by a dentist who did not want to offer me braces. I have since read on the internet that it is possible to have lingual braces on crowned teeth. I would like some advice on this if it’s possible. Thank you for your time.

Hello and thank you for writing in. Yes it is possible as we can bond to the porcelain. I would need to see you in person however, to be fully sure whether it would work in your particular case. If you would like further information on orthodontics you can find it through the information on this website. I hope this helps. Kind regards, Mark.
