I Have Perfect Teeth, But They Don’t Show As Much As I’d Like As My Lips Come Down Too Far. What Can I Do?

Q.
Hello Dr Gambroudes, I have perfect teeth and lips but when I smile only a quarter of my upper set of teeth are visible. This is really annoying. I think I might have a low lip-line. Please help me to fix this problem. I don’t want to undergo any surgery and I would like to know if there is any way to lower my upper set of teeth so that they are visible when I smile. This is my only problem apart from this I have perfect teeth. If I do this, will my teeth look too long? What can I do? Thank you for your time.

Hello and thank you for getting in touch. I would need to see you in person to assess your dental condition accurately. I’d suggest that the treatment you may want to consider would be veneers or crowns. I’d advise you to find an experience dentist in your area who can show you examples of this kind of work and talk through your treatment options. If you’d like further information on these treatments, you can find it through this website’s helpful guide. I hope this helps. Best wishes, Dr Marcus Gambroudes.
