I have never been to a dentist, what is the best course of action to start with?

Q.
Im 25 and have never been to a dentist in my life due to childhood fears. i have many broken teeth and a few missing as u can imagine they have become very painful and difficult for me to eat..so decided enough is enough what would be my best course of action as i would like vaneers??
A.
The best course of action would be to get your mouth stable and healthy before any cosmetic treatment is considerd this can be done by seeing a dentist for a check up to deal with any general dentisitry and then seeing a hygienest who can give you oral health in structions.
