I have crooked teeth and baby milk teeth is my case too severe for Invislign I dont want metal braces or could I have full Veneers?

Q. Hi Dr Patel. I am a 20 year old woman and am serverely distressed at the state of my teeth. I have very overcrowded teeth on the bottom rown, and at the top I have incisors either side of the middle 4 which are high above the level of the other teeth, along with this I also have 2 ‘milk teeth’ which are sitting behind new teeth which have never fallen out! I work in a very social position and do not wish to have a mouth of metal braces to be seen for all. I have read up about invisalign and am v interested in it , and am just not sure whether my case is too severe!!I would if not consider full cosmetic veneers, but again I am not sure whether the only option I have will be wire braces. please help.

A. Please do not despair there are so many options available in cosmetic dentistry today that I am pretty sure we can find a plan to suit your needs. Invisalign is a great way of straightening your natural teeth it takes anywhere from 4 -24 months depending on what we need to do. It sounds like the baby / milk teeth can easily be removed so this should not pose a problem. A lot of my clients are quite high profile or work in positions where they interact very closely with others and they all say that no one ever notices that they are wearing invisalign aligners. Once you have a full consultation all your options can be explained to you. You may find orthodontics and tooth whitening will give you the smile you have always wanted, if not you can always have porcelain veneers after the orthodontic treatment to create a beautiful smile.
I hope this helps you.
