I Have Black Dots On My Teeth And They Are Also Very Yellow. Would Veneers Solve This Problem?

Q.
Hello, Dr Gambroudes. I have a very bad problem with my teeth as I have black dots on them and they are very yellow. I hate my teeth I feel so depressed, I can’t even talk to people due to embarrassment. They are also not straight. This affects me when trying to find a job because I’m afraid of talking to people in case they see my teeth. I am 17 years old. Do you think I could get veneers done for free as my parents are also on benefits? I don’t think they could afford to get me veneers. Thank you.
A.
Hello and thank you for contacting me. I would suggest that you visit your dentist as soon as possible for regular visits. You will need to get your oral health in good shape before any cosmetic treatment begins. I would need to see you in person to determine the correct course of action for your individual case. It might help you to research the various treatments available. You can find information on these through this website. I hope this helps. Best wishes, Dr Gambroudes.
