I have been told that is a bad bite that causes pain in my right jaw and ear. What can be done?

Q. Hi, I was seen by ENT Consultant with pain in right jaw,ear,swelling, all tests clear. On examination he said i have a bad bite. I know my smile is not symmetrical and crooked. Is this due to poor bite and if so what can be done?,
A. You may need to consider balancing the bite with a bite raising appliance before considering crowns on the teeth to stabilise the bite. You can’t guarantee that this will help with the pain
