I have a chip in my front tooth which has left a small gap, what should I do about this?

Q.
hiya DR Hughes, i hope you’re okay?

my question is that i have not very bad teeth but quite bad and haven’t really looked after them and know i should have. i am 23 years of age and my front tooth has chipped and left a small gap. i have other holes and stuff in my teeth just wondering what could be done to improve and get them right and white again? for example my tooth at the front has a finger nail thickness gap now and also have holes and gaps else where but not many. they are straight enough and basically i have been scared of dentist for a while i would like to be knocked out or similar procedure for my teeth to be put right again as i really do have a phobia of the dentist…any advice?

A.
Hi, thanks for your question. My advice would be to go and have a consultation so that your dental condition can be assessed as soon as possible and to discuss all the options open to you. Take care.
