I had oral surgery in April and I have now been told I need a bone graft from my hip or rib. Is this a common procedure?

Q. i had oral surgery in april,now have been told i have 2 have more surgery with a bonegraft from my hip or rib,is this a common procedure? will i swell again? and how long is the recovery ? thankyou,
A. Grafting from the hip or rib is not a common procedure, you obviously need to see an experienced specialist for this treatment
