Q. Hi Dr Moore, I had a deep filling 2 weeks ago and ever since then I have suffered with pains on my jaw line and also in my ear. I can eat on it and can touch it and clean teeth without it hurting. I dont ever get any pain when lying down and it does not keep me awake at night either. It does hurt when I eator drink anything too hot. I have been given 2 lots of antibiotics saying i may have a root infection but they dont seem to be doing anything.I have been back to 2 dentists and they say that the filling is deep and quite near to the root but no one can offer me any advice how to get rid of the pain or why it only hurts when I am moving about. I would be grateful for any advice Many Thanks..
