I had a decayed tooth but the root remains, what should I do?

Q.
Dear Dr Julian Caplan

Id really appreciate your advice. What do you recommend me to do next?
Because of badly decay(due to being badly filled before), I got my moral tooth removed on lower jaw, not completely the dentist couldnt remove the roots, do I need complete root removal?
Its so sad to hear that absence of one tooth can cause serious problems.

What do you advise me to do to fill the empty place of the removed tooth? Can it really result in serious things.

Looking forward to your reply.

A.
it is important that the tooth is completely removed as root remnants may prevent you having the space filled with a dental implant – this is usually the best option and has the longest survival rate provided you are medically healthy
