I feel like my veneers protrude too much, should I have them replaced with lumineers?
Q. I had upper veneers fitted soem months ago and they feel like they protrude too much, as though they are too ‘thick’. I sometimes stumble over words and my top lip stcks out more than it used to. Id this inevitable or should I have them replaced with, say, Lumineers?,
A. Because veneers are cemented on to your natural teeth the teeth will feel strange and larger at first. Try to persevere but if you are still unhappy my advice would be to voice your concerns with the dentist. He may be able to improve them for you so that they feel more comfortable. Dr K Solanki
