I Don’t Want To Lose My Front Tooth And Would Need It Replaced. Could I Be Referred To A Dental Hospital?

Q.
Hi. I have okay teeth but quite a few with mercury filling, some missing due to pregnancy (This is over 17 years ago) and now I feel I may lose a front one. I have a face to face job role which is why I would like to know if you could recommend or if possible either free or very low cost veneers done by a student. I have had my front top two redone as the enamel was eroding them. I am on a low income but I am willing to contribute. I am finding it difficult to find a dentist and feel for me to keep my teeth this is my only option. I do not like to ask but I also do not want to not smile again. Please let me know if you can help. Thanks.

Hello and thank you for getting in touch. It is important that you seek some professional dental advice as to the health of your existing teeth and gums. That way you can find out exactly what it is you may need doing. Many dentists now offer free consultations so this shouldn’t cost you anything. Once you know what it is that you need doing, you can discuss all your options and finance options to fund your treatment. If finances are an issue for you, you might want to register with your local dental hospital where the treatment could be carried out by a student under supervision, and free of charge. I really hope this helpful and I would like to wish you a very Happy New Year. Regards, Marcus Gambroudes.
