I can’t have the 6-month smile treatment because of the gum muscle between my two front teeth, what other treatment can I have?

Q. I have a relatively big gap between my two front teeth. I went to see about getting the 6 month smile treatment but was told that it wasn’t suitable as my teeth would not stay together because of the gum muscle in between my two front teeth. I was just wondering is there any other way apart from long term braces? Or even after the 6 month smile could i not wear a retainer to keep the gap closed etc ?,
A. we have treated may people with gaps between there front two teeth which have been successful. In some cases they have required a frenectomy and a long term bonded and removable retainer.
