I Am Very Unhappy With My Teeth And It Has Seriously Affected My Confidence, What Would Be The Best Thing To Do At This Time?

Q.
Hello, I was just wondering if I could have some advice. I am 22 years old and my teeth are in a very bad way. I have had many fillings and have holes in my teeth which need to be filled. Recently I have had my wisdom teeth removed along with another tooth. I am very unhappy with my teeth and it has seriously affected my confidence and how I feel about myself. When I was younger I was very depressed and therefore neglected my teeth. I am currently working towards going to university and I feel that this issue will affect my chances in the future. I am really scared of losing all my teeth. I have a 16 month old son and was just wondering what would be the best thing for me to do about this? I don’t have very much money but I do have an NHS exemption. Thank you in advance.

My advice would be that you go and see a dentist local to you as soon as possible for some advice and an examination to figure out the extent of the problems you are experiencing. Kind regards, Mark.
