I am on alendronic acid and thyroxine spine treatment will it affect possible implant?
Q. Dental Implant – I am 65 and have osteoporosis and severe spondylosis of the spine, I am currently on alendronic acid for the osteoporsis & spine, and thyroxine – will this affect any possible implant?
A. HiIt is very importaant for your implant dentist to be in contact with your gp and consultant to see if dental implants would be suitable.
