I am 32 years old and need an ‘invisible’ brace, can you recommend one?

Q.
do lingual braces work for strong
bottom teeth, where invisalign would not. it has been recommended to use fixed braces on the front but working in public relations i am not happy with this option, therefore i am happy to try lingual braces. My bottom teeth require improving and my bite is not good. I do have strong teeth but as a 32 year old i am not happy to go around with an obvious brace. i am receiving very contradictory advice from various orthodontists and need clarification. i was seen by a very experienced orthodontist yesterday who didnt feel that lingual braces were very good and that tore up your tongue. I know he is a very good orthodontist and has had great success with traditional fixed braces but he didnt seem to understand my problem. I know he treats a lot of children and to be honest they are normally quite happy to have a traditional front brace. any feedback would be gratefully appreciated.

I tend to advise Invisalign and am currently undergoing a course of Invisalign myself so I can’t recommend them highly enough

this answer is totally inappropriate – my question was relating in lingual braces.
I know that invisalign will not work on my teeth. I was questioning whether lingual would work.
Please re-examine my points.

Hi How quickly can you expect invisalign to produce results? I am looking to have my teeth straighter within 7 months and would like to know the best type of brace for quick tooth moving. My front teeth are the only problem area I have, in that they are a little buck and goofy looking, so do you think the best and quickest option for this would be invisalign? Or could you recommend something else? thank you

A fixed brace is generally much faster that invisalign, a lingual brace can be worn on the inside of your teeth so is less visible

Hello, My sister has been having Invisalign treatment that my dad has been paying for. I recentky found out that she has lost one of her baraces but is too scared to tell my dad. I am really worried that this will affect her teeth and the results she wants to achieve. She hasn’t told the dentist, but I think they get sent to her so they wouldn’t find out anyway. If she doesn’t wear one set of aligners and just moves onto the next set what do you think will happen?

Nothing much so long as she wears the next one twice as long

Hello, I’m looking into lingual braces as I’m 32, in full time work and don’t want everyone to see that I’m wearing braces! I live in Leeds and I was wondering if you recommend an orthodontist that specialises in lingual braces in the area? I would like to go for someone who is highly recommended, even if it isn’t in Leeds a surrounding area will do. Thanks for your time.

The best thing to do is to go onto the incognito website and search for an orthodontist in your locality. If you are still stuck then I will see if I can track one down for you.
