I am 23 years old and would like cosmetic treatment for baby teeth. Is this possible?

Q.
Dear Doctor Sunita Verma. My question: I am a 23 years old university student from Glasgow. I have not lost my baby tooth (central incisor!!) and it doesn’t have any roots and it’s quite strong as well! But I was wondering to go through some cosmetic surgery as there’s a gap there.
I would really appreciate if you could help and write me your personal opinion on this as my dentist recommended to not to get rid of if as long as it’s strong.

Kind Regards and best wishes.

A.
Dear ,
If it is something that is getting in the way of how you feel about yourself and it is taking away from your confidence regarding your smile, then it’s worth getting a cosmetic dentistry opinion.
Ask your dentist if you would be able to veneer/crown this tooth, this may be a consideration if the tooth is firm. You may need additional teeth either side to be veneered also if there is a gap.
I hope this helps,
Sunita
