I am 15 will I be able to have cosmetic work done or will I have to wait?

Q.
Hi, I am wondering if you are able to chip/scrap of the bottoms of the tooth so that they are all equal and straight. Also I would like to have my gaps filled and teeth whitened however I’m only a teenager, I’m 15 so I doubt my teeth would have not full developed. Would you only do this on extreme conditions or if I was to request it, also how much would this cost? I have done some research and I have found baking soda does actually help whiten your teeth. Anyway thank you for taking the time to read my dilemma hope you can help thanks.

I look forward to your reply.

Thank you.

Dear inquirer We can smooth the unevenness of the tips of your front teeth to some extent using a technique called enameloplasty, however, it is only a minimal reduction. At 15, I would not advocate the use of porcelain veneers to close gaps but a technique called cosmetic bonding can be used to close the gaps. This can be used on teeth with gaps up to 4mm and the advantage is that we do not ave to trim the teeth in any way, like we do with veneers.
Professional teeth whitening can be carried out after the age of 16 and will give you better results than baking soda.
