Husband had tooth removed but is still in pain. Any advice?
Q. Dear Dr Moore, My husband had a back tooth removed 2 years ago, because of persistent pain, he is still in pain……and has attended hospital twice. They have xrayed him, and do not seem to know what the problem can be. He is still in pain, all to one side of his mouth (lower) He has tried all mouthwashes etc. Please help with advice. Thank You,
A. I don’t know what the problem is if it has been around for 2 years. I would try to seek advice of a specialist in facial pain or see a very experienced dentist who might have an idea of your problem
