How Much Would I Have To Pay To Change A Silver Crown To A White One?

Q.
I am 26 years old and have had a silver crown fitted to my second from back upper tooth. I was told you would not see when I smiled but you can see it when I smile and I’m unhappy with the way it looks. As I only had It this week, could I just pay the difference approx another £200 more to change to a white crown or would I need to start from scratch and pay much more money around an additional £400 to the £200 I have already spend? Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you shortly
A.
Thank you for your question. It is very difficult for me to answer without seeing you. However, As the treatment plan has now changed I would imagine your dentist would reuqire you to pay again from scratch for the crown to be changed. However, I would approach my dentist and discuss the fact that you were told it was not noticable and that you are infact unhappy with it.

I hope this helps.
