How much are teeth implants or bridges?

Q.
I have just been quoted £3500 to replace 2 teeth with a bridge/implants. It seems like a lot to me. What would you say?
A.
It sounds on the low side for 2 implants we normally charge £4000.

Do you expect a bridge with two implants and two false teeth to stay put or do you expect this to come loose?

Liana Says :

The bridge on top may need re-cementing occasionally but the implants should be firm

I am making enquiries about a single upper implant and the cost, though thespace is bigger. My dentist tells me there is bone halfway along the space. One implant would make a difference to my smile which I am very self-conscious about

I had a maryland bridge fitted approxiamtely 18 months ago which fell out after a year and has continued to fall out regularly every few weeks since. My dentist has recommended having the bridge remade however I am reluctant to spend almost £1000 on another bridge which may also fail. Can an implant be fitted to replace this type of bridge considering the length of time since the tooth was removed and would the costs be a lot more than that of the bridge?

Lyric Says :

the cost would be around £2000, if the bone is suitable the implant should be more stable and last longer than a maryland bridge would

Jane Says :

It depends on what has come out, if its the whole implant than it will cost around £200 per tooth to replace completely, if its the post and crown £1000 is about the correct price.

ust had a quote for £1,800 for a fairly large dental implant. Would you consider this a reasonable cost? My dentist is against a denture but did not explain why. Could I have a denture now and later have an implant? Is it worth shopping around for prices for both procedures? The dentist said that a denture would be £500 max. Would be interested to hear your views re procedures and pricing. Thank you.

I have a baby tooth that is getting more wobbly, I have had x rays and know that there in no tooth underneath. I would like to understand the possible options and cost I am guessing for an implant. It is the first mola and the bottom? Also I have over crowding on the bottom and would like to have braces but I believe this may be costly. Many thanks

As a guide the implant treatment will cost around £2000 to complete. Braces are difficult to quote for but consider around £1700 per arch

Hey. I am 26 year old female. I have been to many dentists and they all say the same..they say I need to take out a loan for 65,000 for my dental implants. I can not at all afford this. I’m at the point where I just want to pull all my teeth.how can I get help with the cost of dental implants? When I was younger about thirteen,I had an eating disorder that played a big role in my dental issues. I used to eat and throw up directly after. Atleast three times daily. For about three years. I need help!!

You need to look into dental implants I carry out procedures where we can put a full set of teeth into a jaw that are screwed in on 4 implants it would probably be the best solution.

I am a 48 yr old man I have 7 teeth on the top jaw (1 molar) with movement in at least 2 of the teeth I currently wear a bridge in the top. On the lower jaw I have 8 teeth with movement in 3. All my teeth are in quite poor condition, the top front teeth have been veneered on a couple of occasions. I wish to have all the teeth removed and dentures fitted. Please could you advise on length of treatment from start to finish, what effects I need to take into consideration and a rough idea of associated costs. Many Thanks.

Brittany Says :

An excellent option may be an an all on 4. We take the teeth out and at the same time place 4 implants and the first bridge which is secured in after about 4-6 months the final bridges are made. The big advantage is that you have fixed teeth from day 1.

I am researching this procedure and have been to consult with my potential surgeon. I am 46 and been wearing top set of denture since the age of 14. I am a teacher and have been embarrassed on a couple of occasions . I am interested in dental insurance. I am a non smoker and fairly good health what is the best way to go with regard to finance and implants. Secondly, I only have about 8mm of bone depth left how is it possible to perform the implants as well as improve my top lip which has fallen significantly when dentures are removed Thanks

I would need to see you to assess you and give you all the options we manage to place implants in people who have been told they can not have them. Call my practice and arrange a consultation.
