How many implants would be needed for a fixed dental plate?
Q. only having a couple of upper teeth can you fix a dental plate to the mouth using dental implants and if so how many implants would be required as i hate and cannot use false teeth on a plate that moves int he mouth. Thank you.,
A. In the upper jaw you need at least 2 but 4-6 implants is better as this will enable the dentist to minimise the coverage of the palate making the denture more comfortable. you might also be able to consider fixed teeth if you have 6 implants which would feel even better
