How do you fix buck teeth without wearing braces

Q. How do you fix buckteeth without wearing braces? i really want straight teeth, but i don’t want have to wear braces is that a possiblity?

A. It is possible but you will have to have your teeth drilled down and crowned fairly signifiacntly especially if they are prominent. This will definately decrease the life span of your teeth. I think that if your teeth are proclined then it would be unwise to rule out braces. Invisable braces are available and you should investiogate this option before you have your teeth filed down
Kind regards

Dr Moore, I have two big front teeth and gaps between all my teeth. In addition I have two baby teeth, I can e-mail you pictures. Could I gain a perfect smile with veneers, implants and other cosmetic methods rather than braces? Also are there cases where braces are essential and cannot be corrected using the methods above. I am willing to consider any means. This is wrecking my life as my smile is awful and you can see my bad teeth when I speak.

I use to have what I would call vampire teeth. After getting braces, my “vampire” smile turned into buck teeth. I had two upper teeth removed to make more room and continued to wear braces for two years but the buck teeth never disappeared. And the really bad buck teeth started to affect my speech. Is there another option to fix buck teeth without having to go back to braces? The orthodontist I went to when I had my braces said I would have to get more upper teeth removed if I wanted to continue with braces and I really don’t want that.
