How can I get over my dental phobia in order to get my broken teeth repaired?

Q.
Hi, Im a 42 year old male and was never taken to the dentist as a child so no trust was ever built up with a dentist, i have only been to the dentist since then when i have had tooth ache and something needs to be removed. The problem now is that i only have six front upper teeth and a few broken off at the gum line at the back. I can no longer smile and very scarred to smile if i go out, this has now affected relationships and eating in public is such an embarrassment i just don’t know what to do. I work but have no savings to pay for such treatment and cant move on in life.
im terrified of dentists and so wish i had gone when i was a child. Help

You need to register with a NHS dentist just make sure they can offer you sedation. You really need to get them sorted out before you start to develop an abscess then become in real pain.
