Hi. My Daughter’s Dental Intern Has Changed While She’s Having Orthodontic Correction. Could You Help?

Q.
Hello Mark, could you tell me what causes relapse in orthodontically aligned teeth?  How does an incorrect mid-line in the lower set affect this? Please offer your advice regarding this as my daughter is undergoing treatment in a university dental college, and the doctor has asked me to search for the answer.  My daughter has had braces treatment for the last two years. The dentist who was working on her completed the course and left the college and now another intern has taken over. Any advice you can offer us would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello and thank you for getting in touch. Unfortunately it’s difficult to answer without seeing her in person as each orthodontic case is unique. Perhaps you could contact the dentist who had previously helped and find out from them. Alternatively we can offer you a consultation with our orthodontist. If you would like to understand more about orthodontic correction, you can find this information through this website. Thanks.
